(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Yemen's permanent representative to the Arab League Mohamed al-Haissami has praised Qatar's efforts to provide humanitarian support for the Yemeni people.
He lauded Qatar's efforts to establish the air bridge for the transfer of humanitarian aid for the relief of the Yemeni people.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) the Yemeni envoy said: "We highly appreciate the generous aid provided by the State of Qatar to the Republic of Yemen to mitigate the bad humanitarian situation in Yemen".
On the outcome of the Geneva conference on Yemen held recently, the Yemeni ambassador said the conference had not failed to achieve the desired objectives, as it was a preliminary consultation.
