Helix Resources (ASX:HLX) has received a $470000 tax rebate under the Federal Government’s Research and Development Tax Incentive Scheme.

This relates to the company’s activities at its New South Wales copper and gold projects over the 2013-2014 financial year.

The rebate boosts Helix’s cash and listed investments to $3.3 million as at 30th June 2015.

Helix remains funded to advance its copper and gold assets in New South Wales and Chile.

Earlier this month it entered into a landmark agreement with the EPG Exploration Fund (EPG) to advance the Joshua Copper-Gold Project in Chile over a short period of time.

EPG will have the right to earn up to a 50.1% equity in the Project by completing up to 10000 metres of diamond and reverse circulation drilling in two stages over 2.5 years.
