Crown prince and governors discuss development goals


(MENAFN- Arab News) JEDDAH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif deputy premier and minister of interior met with provincial governors here to discuss plans to boost development and services for citizens.
Prince Mohammed said the plan was part of the vision of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. The 22nd annual meeting took place in Jeddah on Sunday night.
The meeting discussed the modernization and development of provincial systems ways to measure the performance of governors and chiefs of administrative centers and the state of unplanned settlements the crown prince said.
The participants also discussed ways to strengthen communication between governors and mayors.
Several decisions were taken which have been submitted to King Salman the prince said.
At the conclusion of the meeting he announced that King Salman had approved the King Abdullah Project to develop provincial governorates called 'The Leadership' aimed at improving services for citizens.
