(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Ooredoo and Qatar Duty Free (QDF) have launched a competition that gives customers the chance to win Qatar Airways holiday gift vouchers when buying an Ooredoo Passport card.
To enter the competition, Ooredoo customers have to buy their Ooredoo Passport card at Ooredoo premium dealer, QDF, at Hamad International Airport before July 31.
Eligible customers will then be entered into a raffle draw to win one of three Qatar Airways holiday gift vouchers, including a QR20,000 first-place voucher, a QR15,000 second-place voucher and a QR10,000 third-place voucher.
The competition has been designed in time for Qatar's peak travel season so that customers who use their phone abroad can be rewarded, according to a statement.
Ooredoo Passport was introduced in 2012 to "cater to next-generation customers" who want to stay in touch and browse the web while on holiday or away on business, the statement notes.
The new Ooredoo Passport card ensures that customers can top up as much roaming data and minute allowance as they need, as multiple cards can be activated at the same time. Customers can pre-purchase and top up their Passport. The card works with both Shahry and Hala.
Ooredoo Passport card customers get 100 roaming minutes for all incoming and outgoing calls and 1GB of roaming mobile data in more than 60 countries. Ooredoo Passport also offers an extra 1GB of roaming mobile data for use in the GCC.
Ooredoo Passport works on all GCC networks and while roaming in the GCC, customers can enjoy 4G speed in the UAE (Etisalat), Saudi Arabia (Mobily & STC), Bahrain (Batelco), Kuwait (Ooredoo Kuwait) and Oman (Ooredoo Oman) at no additional cost
