Jordan's METICO records USD5.52m earnings in Q1


(MENAFN) Jordan's Mediterranean Tourism Investment Company (METICO) recorded USD5.52 million earnings in the first quarter of the year, marking a decrease of 7.1 percent year-on-year, Jordan Times reported.

METICO is a public shareholding company that owns the Four Seasons Hotel in Amman, which generated USD3.23 million of total earnings, with food and beverages bringing in USD1.4 million and "others" USDD0.84 million.

Gross profit generated from the hotel's operations amounted to USD1.54 million for the quarter, compared to USD1.82 million year-on-year.
