Endeavor Jordan Hosts Endeavors 59th International Selection Panel in Amman

(MENAFNEditorial) Endeavor has selected 20 high-impact entrepreneurs from 15 companies across 10 countries during its 59th International Selection Panel (ISP), which took place between 9 and 11 June, 2015, in Amman.

The ISP is the conclusion of a rigorous multi-step selection process that is at the core of the Endeavor model. At the 59th ISP, top business and industry leaders from 11 countries interviewed candidates about their companies and potential for high-impact growth, after which deliberations were carried out to determine whether or not they qualify as Endeavor Entrepreneurs.

Upon joining the Endeavor Network, the entrepreneurs are provided with access to customized services, including introductions to local and international business mentors and volunteers from Fortune 500 consulting firms to help them address key business needs. Throughout the years, Endeavor Entrepreneurs have created thousands of jobs and built sustainable growth models in their home countries, transforming local economies and becoming role models for future generations of business pioneers. In 2015, Endeavor will be hosting two additional ISPs in Marrakesh and Mexico City.

Ibrahim Safadi of Luminus Education, Penelope Shihab of MONOJO and Mohammed Shaker and Yousef Wadi of ArabiaWeather are four Jordanian entrepreneurs selected at the 59th ISP, raising Endeavor Jordan's active portfolio to 26 Jordanian entrepreneurs from various industries. Endeavor Jordan has been operating in the Kingdom since 2009. On a global scale, Endeavor currently supports 1,102 high-impact entrepreneurs from 694 companies across 23 countries worldwide.

"We are very pleased to announce that three Jordanian companies have joined the Endeavor Network. A lot of hard work has gone into hand-picking the best candidates and making this ISP a success," commented Endeavor Jordan Managing Director, Rasha Manna. "At Endeavor Jordan, we look forward to seeing more companies join our network this year, as we strive to create additional success stories and position ourselves as a hub for high-impact entrepreneurship in Jordan."
