Oman- 79% khareef visitors from Oman

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Travellers from across Oman comprise 78.8 per cent of visitors to Salalah for the khareef season this year (June 21 to 24 till 1pm) according to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).

The next segment of travellers are from the UAE (12.6 per cent) and Saudi Arabia (2.6 per cent).

NCSI statistics show that 66.5 per cent of visitors from Oman arrived by car while the rest came by air. Visitors from UAE Saudi Arabia and Bahrain mostly arrived by car while those from Kuwait Qatar and other countries arrived by air.

Statistics show that altogether 2542 people visited Salalah during this period. 'Of these 2004 were from Oman 58 from Asia and another 25 from Europe.'
