Vietnam's GDP to grow 6.44 percent in Q2


(MENAFN) According to Vietnam's Minister of Planning and Investment, Vietnam's gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to expand 6.44 percent in the second quarter of 2015, Xinhua reported.

The country's GDP growth in the second quarter remains higher than 6.08 percent in the first quarter and registers the highest hike in the past five years, said the minster at a monthly meeting of Vietnamese cabinet.

In the first six months of 2015, GDP is forecast to increase 6.28 percent. Among the figure, agro-forestry-fishery is likely to hike 2.36 percent, industry to go up 9.09 percent while service is to rise 5.9 percent.
