Qatar- Training event for CPD accreditation surveyors

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Under the patronage of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), the Accreditation Department of Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners - in association with Royal College Canada International (RCCI) - organised a training workshop for surveyors recently.

The accreditation surveyors' training event is a formal certification programme that aims to develop a qualified pool of national surveyors who will play a key role in the National CME/CPD Accreditation System for Qatar.

The team of surveyors was carefully selected from public and private healthcare organisations and academic institutions to represent different sectors of Qatar's healthcare system.

The surveyors were trained in the process of reviewing submitted accreditation applications from CPD providers, conducting a successful site visit and writing a professional accreditation report. The workshop was highly interactive and included presentations, case studies and group discussions.

Meanwhile, the accreditation department continues to organise workshops in association with RCCI to orient stakeholders about the National Accreditation System and CPD Framework.

Two workshops were held this month - Accreditation Summit 4 and Pilot Process Training.
