'Umrah in Ramadan is a dream come true for me'


(MENAFN- Arab News) MADINAH: Moroccan pilgrim Bilal Radwan appeared exuberant on Mount Al-Rumat at the Uhud battle site in Madinah. 'I feel happy while I'm in this holy month of Ramadan in this place. I visited the holy sites in Makkah such as Mount Arafat Mina and some other sites' he said.
It is every Muslim's dream to perform Umrah in the month of Ramadan and to break the fast at the Two Holy Mosques Radwan told Arab News adding: 'It's a dream come true for me.'
It was an honor to visit the Prophet's Mosque and greet the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) Radwan told Arab News.
Expressing delight for being in Madinah after performing Umrah in the Grand Mosque in Makkah he said: 'Iftar in the Prophet's Mosque has a different advantage. Muslims get to have various Ramadan tables that have been prepared in the external squares of the mosque and contained different varieties of foods.'
He said: 'I visited the historic mosques such as Quba and also sites like the Battle of Trench.'
The pilgrim was all praise for the development works in Makkah. 'I saw the expansion of the Grand Mosque and was totally impressed by the projects including the circumambulation facilities in addition to the services for pilgrims and visitors.'
Radwan said that his presence in the Two Holy Mosques during the holy month of Ramadan has a distinctive flavor and indescribable feeling.
The trip cost him two million Moroccan dirhams.
The number of pilgrims arriving in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah has increased where the total number of pilgrims from the first day of Ramadn until the 7th day reached 5.32 million.
