In a statement to the state news agency (TAP), El Kadri pointed out that the tourists departed, early Saturday via the Enfidha/Hammamet international airport, on board 10 flights heading to England and four others to Belgium.
She stated that 420 Britons out of the 502 staying in the Imperial Marhaba hotel targeted, Friday, by the terrorists left for their country.

British tour operator Thomas Cook announced, Friday in a statement, the suspension of its trips to Tunisia till the end of July and the cancellation of its trips scheduled for Saturday and Sunday to Djerba.
This decision was made following the British Foreign Ministry's notice in
which it advises against travelling to Tunisia for the time being.
