Pakistan 70 2 in second Sri Lanka Test

Colombo — Pakistan were 70 for two at lunch on the opening day after electing to bat in the second Test against Sri Lanka at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo on Thursday.

Mohammad Hafeez was unbeaten on 31 and Younis Khan playing his 100th Test was on two after surviving an appeal for leg-before on zero.

Opener Ahmed Shehzad (5) and Azhar Ali (26) were the two batsmen dismissed in the morning session both by seamer Dhammika Prasad.

Pakistan lead the three-match series after winning the first Test in Galle by 10 wickets.
