The return of poster boy John

(MENAFN- Arab News) This poster boy has been missing in B-town for some time now. We mean the hunk John Abraham. Ever since he got married to Priya Runchal he has maintained a low profile. 'Madras Cafe' was his last film and he seemed to be in no hurry to make an appearance on the silver screen. He even says that he didn't miss the limelight that much while he was away!
But now we hear he is ready to put himself back on the map with 'Hera Pheri 3' and 'Welcome Back'. He is totally engrossed in 'Hera Pheri 3' shoots a franchise that he was part of. On the other hand the other actor Akshay Kumar who has been of this franchise since their first movie came out in 2000 will not be seen in the third part of the franchise.
And why? According to the grapevine it was over remuneration issues that Khiladi Kumar had a fallout. There were various reasons touted. Previous reports indicated that Akshay was not approached for the movie. Later it was said that the actor did not like the movie. However according to a report in Mid-Day it is said that the actor demanded Rs 50 crores as his fee and the makers didn't agree! And why not?
'Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal agreed to what was being offered to them but Akshay wanted an astronomical amount. So the makers had no option but to find another actor. The film was anyway delayed due to several rounds of conversation with him' a source said.
