Etihad purchases USD30m private jets for training


(MENAFN) Etihad Flight College, Etihad Airways' flight training school, is set to buy USD30 million, four Embraer Phenom 100E aircrafts with options for extra three of the same plane, Gulf News reported.

The first aircraft is to be delivered by the start of the first quarter next year, according to a statement issued by Etihad Airways. The four planes will increase Etihad Flight College trainer fleet to 20 aircrafts.

"An ideal initial training platform to prepare our cadets for line operations," Richard Hill, Etihad Airways Chief Operations Officer, commented about the Embraer Phenom 100E.
