Kuwait oil price rises


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Price of the Kuwaiti oil rose USD 1.11 per barrel to USD 59.68 pb on Wednesday in contrast to USD 58.57 pb on Tuesday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said on Thursday.

In the international markets, prices of the crude forward deals dropped more than one percent, yesterday, due to rise of the USD rate, jitters resulting from thorny negotiations to resolve the Greek financial crisis, as well as ongoing Iranian nuclear issue, in addition to rise of US crude reserves.

Price of the forward deals of the Brent crudes fell USD 0.96, 1.49 percent, to settle at USD 63.49 pb. The American light crude price also dropped 74 cents, 1.21 percent, settling at USD 60.27 pb. (end)
