UAE embassy oversees Iftar programme in Jordan


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The UAE embassy in Amman has stepped up its Iftar scheme in Jordan in collaboration with the Emirati humanitarian and charitable organisation.

The embassy is liaising with the charitable organisations in Jordan for distribution of thousands of Iftar meals, provided throughout the holy month of Ramadan by Khalifa Foundation, UAE Red Crescent Authority, Sharjah Charitable Society and the Ahmed bin Zayed Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works.

At the start of the holy month, the embassy distributed dates to the needy people, as well as copies of the Holy Quran books to the mosques in Jordan.
