Qatar- Emir issues several instruments of ratification


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Emir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, today ratified a draft agreement on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income between Qatar and South Africa as well as its attached draft protocol, which were signed in Pretoria on March 6, 2015.

The Emir also issued an instrument of ratification to approve a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU)for legal cooperation between Qatar's Ministry of Justice and Croatia's Ministry of Justice signed in Doha on April 14, 2015.

The Emir also issued an instrument of ratification to approve an MoU for joint cooperation in diplomatic training between Qatar's Foreign Ministry Diplomatic Institute and the National Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea signed in Doha on March 8, 2015.

He also issued an instrument of ratification to approve an MoU for cooperation in education field between the Supreme Education Council (SEC) and the Republic of Korea's Ministry of Education signed in Doha on March 8, 2015.

The Emir also issued an instrument of ratification to approve a draft agreement on cancellation of visa for holders of diplomatic and private passports between Qatar and Romania signed in Doha on May 3, 2015, reports QNA.

He issued an instrument of ratification to approve a draft agreement on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income between Qatar and Japan as well as its attached draft protocol, which were signed in Tokyo on February 20, 2015.
