UAE Ambassador hosts Iftar for citizens in US
(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the US has hosted an Iftar dinner at the embassy in Washington, which was attended by diplomats, embassy staff, Emirati students on scholarships, patients receiving treatment in the US, and their families.
Mr. Al Otaiba welcomed the guests and highlighted that the virtuous values of the Holy Month of Ramadan include the expression of tolerance, charity and respect for fellow human beings who, with joint action, can work to achieve peace, security and prosperity.
Attendees expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Ambassador and the UAE Embassy for their hospitality and for the opportunity to spend quality time with families and friends during the Holy Month.
