(MENAFN- Arab Times) Kuwait Basketball under 12 years old (U-12) team is participating in the Qatari International Basketball tournament Youngsters, featuring 62 players from Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
The tournament is under the sponsorship of Qatari Basketball Federation.
Assistant Secretary General of Kuwait Basketball Federation Awwad Al-Shemmeri told KUNA Monday that the tournament will be held under the supervision of high level technical experts who would be an added value to players' techniques and style.
Al-Shemmeri, who is also head of the Kuwaiti delegation, added that everyone in the mission will benefit from such experience, technical and administrative world class training that can keep up with the pace and latest styles of the game.
The official noted European countries, the United States, and developed countries are always working to improve their game and develop players' skills.
The Kuwaiti delegation is participating in the tournament, which kicked off Saturday, with 12 players led by national Coach Abdulaziz Al-Qallaf.
