(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Oman Broadband Company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Salalah Sanitary Drainage Services Company. The MoU aims at benefiting from optic fibre cable laying projects in Salalah.
The MoU was signed by Sheikh Salim bin Ufeit al Shanfari head of Dhofar Municipality; H E Said bin Hamdoon al Harthy Undersecretary for Ports and Marine Affairs in the Ministry of Transport and Communications; Eng Said bin Abdullah al Manthri CEO of Oman Broadband Company and Eng Ghali bin Ahmed al Mashali CEO of Salalah Sanitary Drainage Services Company.
Sheikh Shanfari said that the MoU will serve Dhofar and will ease deployment of optic fibre cables. H E Harthy said the MoU is related to laying of optic fibre cables at all projects of Salalah Drainage Services Company. Eng Manthri said that the MoU will enable Oman Broadband Company to integrate all broadband projects with sanitary drainage projects.
