Qatar- MoI dept signs remote training agreement


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) As part of developing and modernising its mechanism of work, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has set out new plans to improve capabilities of the employees through different training methods. The Human Resources Department of the Ministry signed an agreement with Malomatia, a leading IT consulting company in the state, to conduct remote training for the employees of the Ministry of Interior.

The agreement was signed by Brig Hussain Hasan Al Jaber, Director of the Human Resources Department at the Ministry of Interior and Yusuf Al Naama, Executive Director of Malomatia company. The ceremony was attended by Brig Badr Ibrahim Al Ghanim, Director of the Technical Office for the Minister of Interior, Capt Ali Saud al Henzab, head of the Training Section at HRD and representatives from Malomatia.

Brig Husain Hasan Al Jaber pointed out that signing of the agreement comes with the intention of implementing the strategy of the MOI to prioritise the training and qualification techniques, whereas the human element is the fundamental resource through which the performance and services for the public are improved.

He stated that the remote training project which will be launched in the beginning of next year, will serve more than 5,000 employees of the Ministry in the first phase.

Explaining the new project, Capt Ali Saud Al Henzab said that the idea is based on enabling the employees to attain the planned training courses without attending the session. He pointed out that Malomatia company, will provide a program (application) available on the computer, iPad or the smartphone whereas the employee will be given a password to unlock the training courses to be completed during the stipulated career period. The employee can learn at anytime from anywhere, wherein the programme will be available 24 hours a day. Once the employee completes all the courses within the stipulated period the Training Section of the Human Resources Department will contact with the trainee to undergo evaluation and certification.
