Oman- MoAF's free fish supply to 595 families for Ramadan


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The fisheries development department in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MoAF) will be distributing free fish to families under social security throughout Ramadan in the wilayat of Liwa North Batinah.

The initiative which is being held in cooperation with the office of the Wali of Liwa will cover 595 families in the wilayat. Among these over a 100 families will be supplied fish every day. According to Juma bin Salim bin Hilal al Mukhaini from the fisheries development department Liwa the initiative is a joint cooperation of government agencies and the private sector to contribute to society.

A working group has also been formed to supervise the implementation of the initiative which is being funded by a private firm.
