World Health Organization commends Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's support


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The World Health Organization (WHO) commended cooperation between WHO and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, considering it as a model.

The Organization emphasized in a report published in its periodical of current month of June which coincides with

the World Day for Refugees that the World Health Organization is working by the financial support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom to provide emergency health care for the displaced people from inside Iraq through mobile medical clinics.

The periodical reported a story of an Iraqi elderly woman forced to flee her home when the violence broke out in her home town, Mount Sinjar.

The woman expressed her thanks for the health care provided by one of Saudi medical mobile clinics that provided health services for displaced people from various governorates of Iraq.
