Direct Aid society distributes food aid to needy Tunisian families


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait's Direct Aid society, Tunisia branch, began Monday distribution of food assistance on needy families in Qebli governorate, southeastern Tunisia, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

Bu Baker ben Mohammad, representative of Direct Aid in Southern Tunisia, was quoted by local media as saying the society was distributing 1,000 boxes containing different food stuff.

He said the selection of needy families was taking place in coordination with local authorities in the Qebli governorate.

Ben Mohammad hoped further contributions by Direct Aid would take place in future to support development projects. (end)
