Longest Days Of Year To Continue


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The longest days of the year which started since the summer solstice on Sunday, will continue in the northern hemisphere of the earth till June 25, as the daytime will last for 14 hours and three minutes, astronomer and historian Adel Al-Saadoun said on Monday.

He added in remarks to KUNA that the sun yesterday appeared was perpendicular with the tropic of cancer which resulted in the longest daytime in the year, as the shadows reach its lowest level in countries located norther the equator.

The temperature will increase in Kuwait as the sun rays will be vertical, especially during the noon time, while the sun will later start to decline gradually until reaching the vernal equinox by Sept 22.
