(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Ooredoo has announced that its QR200 monthly Mobile Broadband Plan, which offers 15GB of data, has been boosted free of charge for all customers.

Customers subscribed to the 15GB pack will now receive 25GB of data, an additional 10GB at no extra cost, as Ooredoo looks to give customers more freedom to browse the Internet and send their wishes this Ramadan, according to a statement.

Besides, Ooredoo will offer 50% off on the new 25GB Mobile Broadband Plan for 12 months, coming at QR100 per month, half the usual fee.

This is a special offer aimed at celebrating the data boost and as part of the company's campaign to bring the community together during the holy month.

The offer, which is valid during Ramadan only, gives new Shahry and Shahry Super customers a 50% discount on the 25GB Mobile Broadband Plan for one year from the activation date.

The offer is available to all new Shahry customers who subscribe to the Shahry Pack 55 and above, and the reduction will be valid for 12 months as long as the customer continues to keep his/her selected Shahry Smart pack or higher.

The offer has been designed to give back to customers during the holy month by connecting them to the Internet and enabling them to share Ramadan greetings with friends and family online, the statement notes.

To qualify for the discount, customers need to take their valid QID card to participating Ooredoo shops to register for a Shahry Smart pack 55 or higher.

This Ramadan, Ooredoo will take part in a wide range of community and charity initiatives, including hospital visits, children's activities and random acts of kindness across the city as part of its "share our best" campaign.

On days throughout the holy month, the company's Alrabaa mascots will also visit different locations and offer gifts, wishes and surprises to those in need.
