Qatar- MoI to provide remote training to enhance employees' capacity


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced to launch a project to provide remote training to its staff as part of efforts to improving efficiency, modernizing working methods and capacity building of its employees.

The Human Resources Department (HRD) of the Ministry has signed an agreement with an information technology firm to conduct the training.

The agreement was signed by Brigadier Hussain Hasan Al Jaber, HRD Director at MoI and Malomatia IT Company Executive Director, Yusulf Al Naama.

MoI Technical Office Director Brig. Badr Ibrahim Al Ghanim; HRD Training Section Head Captain Ali Saud Al Henzab and representatives from the company attended the event.

Brig Al Jaber said the remote training project, starting early next year, will boost capacity of over 5,000 ministry staff in the first phase.

Captain Al Henzab said: "The idea is to train staff without attending sessions. Malomatia will provide an application for computer, iPad and smartphones. The employee will receive a password to unlock the training course to be completed within the stipulated time."

Staff will be able to learn anytime from any place as the programme in available online 24 hours a day.

The HRD will evaluate performance of the employee once the course is completed and present certificate, he said.
