Erdogan urges political parties to quickly form coalition gov't

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged all political parties Sunday to form a coalition government as soon as possible or the country would face early elections.

The government formation process could possibly continue until mid-August, Erdogan said in an address to the Turkish Exporters' Assembly, noting that his country will not bear any waste of time in this regard, and that a coalition government must be formed in no time.

If politicians fail to form a new government, the people would be the choice to solve the matter once again, the Turkish President said, indicating that new elections are to take place if talks on forming a coalition fail. (pickup previous) ta.ma
