(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Dr. Ali Al-Obaidi, Kuwaiti Minister of Health, has said that the State of Kuwait is making major strides in the fight against epidemic diseases through effective preventive measures.
The Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, quoted Al-Obaidi as saying, "Kuwait has won the praises of the World Health Organisation for responding to pandemic and epidemic diseases. The Ministry of Health is working with the competent parties, including the state departments, the Ministry of Interior, the health inspection department in border areas and non-profit organisations, to prevent any outbreak of diseases."
