(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) A Palestinian youth was injured on Sunday after allegedly stabbing and injuring an Israeli police officer in Bab al-Amoud district in East Jerusalem, Israeli police said in a statement.
According to the statement, the Palestinian youth Mohammad Abu Hasira,18, from al-Khalil city in the West Bank was severely injured and is currently having a surgery.
Luba Semari, Israeli police spokewoman, said in a statement that the police officer retiliated by shooting at the Palestinian youth.
