S. Korea's GS E&C wins USD320m contract in Singapore
(MENAFN) South Korea's major builder GS Engineering & Construction Corp. said it has won a USD320 million contract for the foundation work of a subway depot in Singapore, Yonhap News reported.
Per terms of the contract, the South Korean builder will be involved in the groundwork for the depot to be built on the Thomason-East Line. The work will start this month and be completed in March 2018.
GS E&C said it has also clinched a USD282.23 million order from a local petrochemical maker to help expand its production capacity, as well as set up a cooling tower at the company's plant in Onsan.
