Palestine, South Africa Discuss Peace Process in the Middle East

(MENAFN- QNA) Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah urged the international community to put pressure on Israel to remove the obstacles imposed by Israeli authorties to the Palestinian development and economy process.

This came during a meeting between the Palestinian Prime Minister here on Sunday with the South African Middle East Envoy Zola Skweyiya, where they discussed developments in the political process.

Hamdallah pointed to the obstacles imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities at the Palestinian development process, especially in the so-called areas (c) and East Jerusalem.

He stressed the role of South Africa in supporting the Palestinian people in their struggle to end the occupation and establish their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
