China's economy to slow in Q3, recovers in Q4

(MENAFN) According to a think tank forecast, China's economy will show signs of slowing down in the third-quarter period and pick up slightly in the final quarter of the year, Xinhua reported.

The slow sown is attributed to investment in fixed assets in the third quarter, with continued efforts to steady growth. Consumption will also pick up due to increased income and recovering exports and imports.

The economic growth will stop slowing by the end of the third quarter and show signs of a slightly recovery in the fourth thanks to the rebound of the property market and consumption.

Amid sluggish growth, China's economy is undergoing deep structural changes such as the rise of emerging sectors, Renmin University's National Academy of Development and Strategy's executive head said.
