Oman, Japan sign agreement on encouragement of joint investment


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Sultanate of Oman and Japan have signed a mutual agreement on encouragement and protection of joint investment between the two countries.

The Omani Ambassador to Japan, Khalid bin Mohammed Al Meslhi, and Japan's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Yasuhide Nakayama, signed the agreement.

The agreement aims to launch a new phase of bilateral economic and trade relations, and to encourage Omani and Japanese businessmen and investors through the provision of the foundations that will stimulate and increase joint trade and investment activities.
