(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar has expressed its concern at conditions of children in areas of conflict, particularly in Palestine and Syria.
This came in Qatar's statement during a Security Council session to discuss the UN Secretary-General's report on children and armed conflict areas.
The statement added that Qatar prioritised guaranteeing education to children in areas of conflict, as part of the country's commitment to education and its positive impact on children. This commitment was reflected in the Education Above All Foundation.
