(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Workers enjoy Iftar meal at a Qatar Charity (QC) tent behind Al Ahli Stadium and (right) single workers attended a mass Iftar party hosted by RAF in Al Wakra. QC is distributing free food coupons to 1,500 needy families during Ramadan. Each coupon is worth QR500. QC is also distributing food kits to needy families, each containing 18 items, including rice, edible oil, wheat flour and sugar, among other items. QC has set up 22 Ramadan tents to serve free Iftar meals mainly to low-income workers in locations mostly populated by single workers. Most tents are in schools.
