Tunisia Closes Consulate in Libya's Tripoli


(MENAFN- QNA) Tunisian Foreign Minister Al-Tayeb Al-Bakoush announced on Friday the closure of his country's consulate in Libya's capital Tripoli.

In statements to reporters upon receiving 23 Tunisian diplomats returning from Libya, the Minister called on compatriots to leave Libya soon and not to travel to it at the time being.

The returning diplomats include ten who were kidnapped in Libya before being released Thursday and return home early Friday.
