Game Pro OSN Mazaya Hyderabad supreme in RCL Prince Sultan T20 tourney

(MENAFN- Arab News) RIYADH: Game Pro eased past Riyadh Avengers by 44 runs to win the Prince Sultan Twenty20 Super Cup cricket tournament organized by the Riyadh Cricket League.
The architect of Game Pro's premier league victory was Imran who scored a match winning unbeaten innings of 129.
OSN Warriors won the premier league-I final when they got the better of Gujranwala by 5 wickets. Mazaya Hyderabad Boyz won the premier-II cup when they scored a comfortable 32-run over Run Riders.
The last tourney of the season was dedicated to RCL patron in Chief Prince Sultan bin Nasser.
Other good performers with the bat were Zafar Waqar Kamran Faizan and Salman. Dishad and Salah impressed with the ball. Shakeel impressed with his all-round performance.
Game Pro owes this title to Imran who scored a magnificent unbeaten 129 in a total of 217. Mustafa (33) Shammi (19) and Moize (15) were the other run getters. Tasadduk and Zahid took 2 wickets each.
In reply Riyadh Avengers failed to achieve the target and bowled out for 173 runs. Zafar played well and made 62 runs Abubaker scored 30 runs. Dilshad took 3 wickets. Mustafa and Parshant claimed 2 wickets each.
Man-of-the-Match: Imran.
Gujranwala batted first and put up a reasonable total of 196 runs in the premier-I final against OSN Warriors. Kamran top-scored with 70 suns followed by Waqar who got 50. Shakeel took 2 wickets.
In reply OSN Warriors achieved the total after 19.2 overs. Faizan played a magnificent inning of 82 runs. He was supported by Mazhar's 30. Amer M hit the winning stroke which cleared the ropes and help his team with the title. Kamran and Osman claimed 2 wickets each.
Man-of-the-Match: Faizan.
In the premier-II final Hyderabad Boyz put up a total of 189 runs. Salman was in good nick and scored 69 runs. Fayyaz (30) and Ismail (23) were the other run getters. Shakeel took 2 wickets. In reply Run Riders failed to reach the target and managed to score 157 runs. Shakeel (47) and Samran (32) were the only batsmen who put up some resistance. Salah bowled well and took 3 wickets.
Man-of-the-Match: Salman.
RCL executive committee congratulated the teams and their management which took part in the league and tourneys during the season and for also being part of RCL. The prize distribution ceremony for this tournament will be held in the presence of the patron in chief later this year.
