(MENAFN- QNA) A Saudi army Lieut-Colonel was killed as a landmine went off in the mountainous area of Jebel Towaileq in Jazan province near the southern borders with Yemen.
The incident took place on Wednesday midday while Lt.-Col. Abdullah Bin Saleh Al-Balwi was leading a combing operation in the area, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing a statement by the Joint Command of the Saudi-led Coalition.
