Int'l Economic Forum kicks off in Russia


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The International Economic Forum kicked off in Petersburg, Russia on Thursday with the participation of representatives from 114 countries and 900 international companies.

The three-day forum will discuss economic issues, foreign investment promotion, cooperation between Russia, India and Japan, loans as well as development.

Russian and foreign companies are expected to sign over 70 investment agreements in the event held from June 18 to 20.

The forum will also see the participation of a number of economy and finance ministers, as well as top officials from Mongolia, Greece and China.
