Friday's agenda: Auto Trader has the road to itself


(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors)On what should be a quiet day for company results car sale web site Auto Trader should have little competition for the spotlight. The firm will be issuing its first set of results since floating back in March at 235p. Since then the shares have motored higher to 304.5p on the back of next to no news flow. The company must have impressed analysts back in April at its investor day because the shares have risen from around 264p since then. The appointment of former Next finance director David Keens to the board also got the thumbs-up. Investors will be keen to learn more about what the company plans to do with the money it raised at the time of its flotation. Broker Numis is tipping underlying earnings (EBITDA) of £156mln and profit before tax of £18.5mln on sales of £255.2mln. No dividend is expected this time round but Numis reckons one could be on the horizon next year. Significant announcements expected Finals: Auto Trader Group (LON:AUTO)
