Arab League Reiterates Full Support to Legitimate Government of Yemen's President Hadi


(MENAFN- QNA) The Arab League has reiterated its full support to the legitimate government of Yemen's President Abd Rabboh Mansour Hadi, said Thursday a final statement issued by the League's consultative meeting here on the crisis in Yemen.

The meeting was attended by Yemeni Vice-President and Prime Minister Khaled Bahah and Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil Al-Araby.

The final statement stressed the League's approval of the decisions made at the Arab summit in Sharm El-Sheikh regarding the full support of all the military actions undertaken by the Arab coalition force, led by Saudi Arabia, in the defense of the legitimate government of Abd Rabboh Hadi in Yemen.

It also welcomed results of the Riyadh conference on the crisis in Yemen which took place in that city from May 17-19, seeking restoration of security and stability to Yemen.

The statement also stressed the need to assist Djibouti in hosting the displaced Yemeni refugees.

Earlier, the consultative meeting had listened to Bahah explaining the dimensions of the crisis in his country.

Qatar was represented in the meeting by HE Qatar's Ambassador in Cairo and its Permanent Delegate to the Arab League Saif Bin Muqaddam al-Buainain.
