(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The government, on Wednesday, was briefed on the process of the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi), and actions taken by the Ministry of Education to administer that process, provide justice, equality and equal opportunities for all students.

At a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education Mohammad Thneibat said holding the Tawjihi exam this year with this degree of discipline is unprecedented.

The commitment to the exam was complete, no one complained of any leaked questions and no gatherings or riots near schools, the minister confirmed.

Thneibat noted that the atmosphere surrounding the exam in the first two days was appropriate and comfortable for the students, and expressed the hope that the same will continue for the rest the examination period.

He pointed out that there was maximum coordination between various state bodies involved in such tasks, and thanked all related agencies supporting the ministry in conducting the Tawjihi exam.

He added that the total number of students, who were prevented from appearing in the exam over the past two days, is 114, a small number if compared to the last three exams.
