Saudi- IIROSA endowment building opened for orphans


(MENAFN- Arab News) JEDDAH: Under the leadership of Abdullah Mohsin Al-Turki the secretary-general of Muslim World League (MWL) and chairman of the board of directors the International Islamic Relief Organization-Saudi Arabia (IIROSA) opened an endowment building for orphans in Ajyad Al-Sad Makkah on Tuesday in presence of several business leaders and philanthropists.
'We are carrying out educational health and rehabilitation programs for the benefit of orphans in different parts of the world' Ehssan Saleh Taieb secretary-general of IIROSA told Arab News after the opening ceremony. The endowment building is located 150 meters from the Haram Mosque. Constructed at a total cost of SR293.11 million the seven floors of the building will be used for services while 22 floors with 464 rooms will be utilized as a four-star hotel.
'We expect an annual revenue of more than SR50 million from the building' Taieb said. He praised the philanthropists who had contributed generously to finance the project.
