(MENAFN- Gulf Times) National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) Chairman Dr Ali bin Smaikh al-Marri yesterday met Bangladeshi ambassador to Doha Sayyed Massoud Mahmoud.
They reviewed ways to enhance co-operation in issues of common concern as well as the exchange of expertise and experiences in the field of human rights.
Al-Marri also met Syrian ambassador to Doha Nizar Al Haraki. They reviewed aspects of co-operation in the humanitarian field and mechanisms of extending bridges of communication between the two sides to promote the culture of human rights.
The NHRC chairman also met Ethiopian ambassador to Qatar Mesganu Arga Moach. They reiterated the need to exchange experiences and continue to communicate about all the humanitarian issues and set the required mechanisms to promote them.
