GMC sales in UAE increase 39% on demand for SUVs

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) GMC has revealed that year-to-date sales in the UAE are 39 per cent higher than last year.

"The desire for larger vehicles and luxury products continues to be strong in the UAE," said Markus Leithe, GMC Middle East's director for operations. "That's why every month this year, we've seen more people drive away in our new Yukons, Sierras, Acadias and Terrains."

Demand has been high for the Yukon SUV and its larger counterpart, the Yukon XL with year-to-date growth in the triple figures. However, sales have also been strong for the Terrain crossover and the Sierra pick-up, he said.

"We expect growth in the brand to continue. With Ramadan offers on at the moment, we will not be surprised if our sales figures are bolstered further," said Leithe.

"Our customers look at their purchase of a GMC as a whole package. It's not just the vehicle that a GMC owner is entitled to, they also receive a competitive support package that includes a comprehensive warranty, roadside assistance and competitive servicing rates."
