(MENAFN- QNA) - Qatar Central Securities Depository (QCSD) has increased foreign investors' shares holding limit in Ezdan Holding Group to 49% of the company's capital.

- Wednesday, June 17, will be the last day of Shaban and Thursday, June 18, will be the first day of Ramadan, the Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs said in a statement.

- Qatar Airways (QA) has won the 'Airline of the Year' honour for the third time at the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards here, the national carrier announced Tuesday.

- The State of Qatar reiterated that it adopted a comprehensive policy for the development of its education system based on the principle of equal opportunities for individuals of both sexes and the promotion of entry and retention opportunities without discrimination. - The first edition of the Qatar International Medical Devices & Healthcare Exhibition and Conferences (QMED) is to be held under the patronage of Qatar Supreme Council of Health (SCH). QMED will be held from 2 to 4 December 2015 at the brand new and soon to open Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) located in the West Bay area of Doha with an expected participation of over 100 companies both locally and around the world.

- The State of Qatar has expressed deep concern over the death sentence that was handed to Dr. Mohammed Morsi by Egypt's criminal court, an official source said, noting that Doha adds its voice to the countries calling for vacating the verdict and releasing Morsi.

- The Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE), a member of Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies (QFIS) in Hamad bin Khalifa University (HBKU), has concluded its second annual summer school, which was entitled 'Ethics and Sensitive Contemporary Issues', and focused on critical thinking in Islamic studies.

The event was held on the sidelines of the 29th session of the Human Rights Council being held from 15 June to 3 July.

- Qatar Football Association (QFA) and Football Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic have signed a cooperation agreement during a press conference at the headquarters of the Kyrgyz federation.
