Sudanese President Meets Chinese Envoy on African Affairs
(MENAFN- QNA) Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir met here with the visiting Special Representative of the Chinese Government on African Affairs Zhong Jianhua.
During the meeting, they discussed issues of common concern and strategic partnership between the two countries.
In a press statement after the meeting, Jianhua said that his visit to Sudan came in the framework to exchange views with President Al-Bashir and Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour on bilateral relations and issues of common concern between the two countries.
He added that "We have achieved fruitful results and we are satisfied with the current state of the Beijing-Khartoum relationship." He expressed his conviction that the Sudanese government and President Al-Bashir will play an important role to bring peace in the region.
