Qatar- Lusail launches second phase sales of Qetaifan Islands

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Lusail Real Estate Development Company has announced the launch of the second stage of luxury villa sales at Qetaifan Islands.

The villas will be sold exclusively to Qataris through a public offering system whereby buyers will be drawn from a pool of applicants. The public offering will be organised in close co-operation with government authorities,

according to a statement.

Interested applicants can visit Sheraton Hotel, where Lusail Real Estate Development Company will host a booth over a three-day period starting June 22 to brief potential clients on the project. Representatives of the company will be available on a daily basis until 12pm to answer enquiries.

In March last year, the company announced the first stage of sales at Qetaifan Islands. The first phase featured the sale of 50 land plots with a surface area ranging between 1,200sqm and 4,100sqm.

Located just off the coast and a short drive from the heart of Lusail City, Qetaifan Islands offers its residents a "holistic community experience in a relaxed and luxurious environment", the statement notes, adding that the islands, which were "designed to maximise views to the magnificent waterfront, include a marina that hosts some of the most exclusive beaches and

marvellous yachts".

The islands will be connected through a network of pedestrian bridges and feature a number of traditional souqs, reflecting Qatar's cultural heritage.

The souqs offer an "exclusive shopping experience" to visitors who will benefit from more than 3,500 parking lots connected to a multitude of exists through tree-shaded pathways.

The surrounding area will also host children playgrounds scattered along the walkway facing the marina of Qetaifan Islands, which will be home to two schools in addition to a number of mosques.

The four islands are connected to Lusail City through suspension bridges decorated by granite and glass fences. The lighted and colourful bridges, which connect the islands to Lusail City's central zone, also feature gardens and fountains at both ends.
