At Least 14 Killed, 70 Injured in Tunisia Train Crash


(MENAFN- QNA) At least 14 people were killed and 70 other injured when a train and a lorry collided south of the Tunisian capital on Tuesday, the Transport and Interior Ministries said.

The accident happened at El Fahes, some 60 kilometres (40 miles) from Tunis, at around 6:30 am (0530 GMT) in the midst of the morning rush hour. "The death toll could rise," Transport Minister Mahmoud Ben Romdhane told Mosaique FM radio.
